The good news is, it's never too early to start thinking about scholarships! While many scholarships are geared towards seniors, there are things you can do now as an underclassman to put yourself in a strong position for future funding.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) determines your eligibility for financial assistance. This includes grants, federal student loans, and work-study awards. Completing the FAFSA is mandatory for accessing federal funding and most state-level opportunities, such as the Arkansas Academic Challenge.
