  • What is the Accuplacer?

    • The Accuplacer is a placement test used by colleges and universities, including NWACC and NWTI, to determine a student’s readiness for college-level courses in areas such as reading, writing, and math.

    • Your Accuplacer scores help ensure that you are placed in courses that match your skill level and increase your chances for success in your concurrent credit classes.

  • Who Needs to Take the Accuplacer?

    • Typically, students who plan to enroll in concurrent credit courses at NWACC or NWTI are required to take the Accuplacer if they do not already have qualifying scores from previous testing or coursework.

    • The test helps colleges determine eligibility for courses like College Algebra, English Composition, or other general education classes.
